AML3D Secures AU$4.5 million Order from Major U.S. Shipbuilder

AML3D Limited (ASX: AL3) has secured an impressive contract valued at around AU$4.5 million from Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) — a division of HII, recognized as the largest military shipbuilder in the United States. The order includes two custom ARCEMY® systems designed for heavy-capacity shipbuilding applications, marking the ninth and tenth systems supporting the U.S. Navy’s Maritime Industrial Base. These advanced 3D metal printing systems utilize AML3D’s patented Wire Additive Manufacturing (WAM®) process, known for reducing lead times, waste, and environmental impact while maintaining high-quality standards. Commissioning and deployment are planned for completion during Q2 2026. This contract strengthens AML3D’s position in the U.S. defense sector and aligns with its strategy to expand into non-defense industries and international markets, including the UK and Europe. The company continues leveraging its U.S. manufacturing base to support evolving government initiatives and tariff policies
