EV Resources Secures Processing Plant to Fast Track Antimony Production in Mexico

EV Resources Limited (ASX: EVR) has signed a binding lease with the option to purchase a 150-tonne-per-day processing plant in Tecomatlán, Mexico, advancing its plan to fast-track antimony production at the nearby Los Lirios Project. The US$1.8 million acquisition, structured through staged payments, gives EVR immediate access to production capacity with minimal upfront capital.

The plant includes crushers, ball mills, and flotation circuits, with grid power located only 100 metres away — offering low-cost operations and rapid commissioning potential. EVR intends to source feedstock from local artisanal miners, generating early cash flow and community benefits. Managing Director Mike Brown said the move positions EVR as a first mover in North American antimony supply, aligning with U.S. critical mineral initiatives. Due diligence and grid connection works are now underway ahead of the company’s planned production ramp-up.
