Ariadne Australia Expects Return to Profit in FY2026
Ariadne Australia Limited (ASX: ARA) expects to report total comprehensive income attributable to members of between AU$2.0 million and AU$3.0 million for FY2026, representing a significant turnaround from the AU$0.4 million loss recorded in FY2025. The improved performance was supported by a AU$4.4 million contribution from Orams Group Limited following another year of strong operating performance. The investment portfolio also benefited from valuation gains of AU$4.3 million in Cover Genius Ltd and AU$3.5 million in Hillgrove Resources Ltd, although these were more than offset by a AU$9.7 million decline in the value of its Webjet Group investment. The Group also recorded approximately AU$8.1 million in unrealised foreign exchange translation losses due to a weaker New Zealand dollar and US dollar against the Australian dollar. Despite these non-cash impacts, Ariadne finished the financial year with a diversified investment portfolio and cash reserves of approximately AU$20.3 million, reinforcing its solid financial position.
