Hydrix Wins AU$3.4 Million US Medical Robotics Contract
Hydrix Limited (ASX: HYD) has secured a development contract worth approximately AU$3.4 million with US-based Remedy Robotics, strengthening its presence in the advanced medical robotics sector. The agreement expands the companies’ long-standing partnership, with Hydrix providing safety-critical software, embedded electronics, and engineering expertise for Remedy’s AI-enabled N1 robotic platform designed for endovascular procedures. The contract highlights Hydrix’s growing role in developing complex medical technologies for global healthcare markets.
The contract is expected to generate around AU$3.4 million in revenue, which will be recognised progressively during FY2027. Hydrix noted that the project significantly enhances its international growth strategy while supporting the development of next-generation robotic systems aimed at improving access to specialised cardiovascular treatment. The expanded scope of work is intended to accelerate the N1 platform’s readiness for future clinical studies, reinforcing Hydrix’s reputation as a trusted engineering partner in regulated medical technology and AI-driven healthcare innovation.
