Arika Resources Limited (ASX: ARI) has completed a strongly supported and upsized AU$5 million capital raising through the issue of approximately 217 million shares at AU$0.023 per share. The placement attracted firm commitments from both new and existing professional and sophisticated investors. In a decisive vote of confidence, Company Directors committed AU$0.7 million, demonstrating their alignment with shareholder interests.
The funds will be used to ramp up exploration activities at Arika’s flagship Yundamindra and Kookynie Gold Projects in Western Australia and for general working capital. Including existing cash reserves, Arika now holds approximately AU$6 million, positioning the Company to advance sustained exploration. Drilling is set to commence next week at Yundamindra, initially targeting the high-priority Pennyweight Point and Landed at Last prospects, following recent high-grade RC and diamond drilling results.
