Augustus Minerals Advances Music Well Project With Heritage Surveys and Exploration Updates

Augustus Minerals Limited (ASX: AUG) confirmed that Heritage Surveys at its Music Well Gold Project in Western Australia will commence on 26 August 2025, a crucial milestone that clears the path for its maiden drilling campaign. The surveys, covering the Clifton East, Dodd’s, St Patrick’s, and Black Cat prospects, complete statutory approvals and follow a Heritage Protection Agreement with the Watarra Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC, representing the Darlot People. Soil sampling at St Patrick’s identified a 600m-long gold anomaly, while rock chip assays from regional prospects returned grades up to 4.4g/t Au, extending mineralised trends. Upcoming work includes a 1,000-point surface geochemistry program and drilling to test high-grade targets. With its 1,345 km² tenement package in the Leonora/Laverton belt, Augustus is well-placed to explore one of Australia’s most gold-rich regions, adjacent to major mines like Darlot and King of the Hills.
