Aurum Resources Limited (ASX: AUE) has achieved an 80% project interest in the BM Joint Venture (JV) at its Boundiali Gold Project in Cote d'Ivoire after completing over 24,000 meters of diamond core drilling. This milestone satisfies Aurum's commitment to invest over US$2.5 million in exploration within 36 months. Drilling efforts have delivered promising results, including high-grade intercepts such as 17.31m @ 5.90 g/t Au and 14m @ 3.10 g/t Au at key targets.
Aurum has established a JV entity, Plusmin Gold Sarl, to facilitate the license transfer and ongoing exploration activities. With six in-house diamond rigs capable of drilling 10,000m monthly, the company aims to drill over 50,000m in 2024 and achieve an initial JORC resource by year-end. Backed by strong funding of over AU$19M as of September 2024, Aurum plans to expand its exploration to 100,000m in 2025, unlocking the project's potential and advancing its growth strategy.
