Ballard Mining Limited High-Grade Resource Extension and Infill Results at Mt Ida

Ballard Mining Limited (ASX: BM1) has reported strong results from its ongoing extensional and infill drilling program at the Mt Ida Gold Project in Western Australia. The project spans 26km of highly prospective greenstone belt around the Copperfield Granite and continues to deliver encouraging outcomes. A standout result came from drill hole DFS 284, which intersected 14 metres at 11.3 g/t gold from just 14 metres depth, outside the current mineral resource estimate. This discovery, together with historical intersections to the north, supports the interpretation that the 2160 lode extends to surface, presenting an opportunity for further resource growth.

Geology Manager Todd Hibberd noted the potential to significantly increase the resource size as drilling progresses, with the infill program already 40% complete. The company plans to advance extensional drilling at Baldock following the current phase. It anticipates initial assays from its broader exploration program in September, alongside data from high-resolution Aero Mag surveys.
