Ballymore Resources (ASX: BMR) has doubled the strike length of its mineralised corridor at the Dittmer Gold Project in Queensland to 4km, following extensive fieldwork south of the historic mine. This expansion is supported by visible gold in 11 stream sediment samples, with assays up to 39 g/t Au and rock chips returning up to 7.43 g/t Au. The most significant anomalies were found in the underexplored Lady Denise and Jim’s areas, which coincide with a magnetic low interpreted as an alteration zone.
The ongoing Stage 5 drilling campaign intersected high-grade mineralisation, including 0.4m @ 221.3 g/t Au, and is targeting deep porphyry structures beneath the Dittmer mine. With only 300m of the corridor drilled to date, Ballymore’s results suggest strong potential for a district-scale gold system. Follow-up prospecting and soil sampling are planned to further evaluate these highly anomalous zones and expand exploration.
