Ballymore Resources (ASX: BMR) has identified 29 high-priority polymetallic targets at its Maniopota prospect, part of the 100% owned Ruddygore Project in North Queensland. The results follow a AU$300,000 government-funded SkyTEM heli-borne EM survey, the first modern geophysical work in the area in more than 50 years. Data modelling outlined strong conductors linked to skarn alteration and extensive soil anomalies, many of which remain untested.
Historic exploration highlighted high-grade copper, lead, zinc, silver, and gold, with rock chips returning up to 22.2% Cu, 31.2% Pb, 13.8% Zn, 1.07 g/t Au and 585 g/t Ag, alongside shallow drilling intersections such as 3m @ 10.72% Pb & 20.63% Zn. Maniopota lies within the Palmerville Fault Corridor, immediately along strike from the Red Dome and Mungana mines, both of which are major producers. Ballymore plans to follow up on drilling in 2025 to test these newly modeled anomalies, positioning the project as a potential extension of the region’s large polymetallic systems.
