Bayan Mining Identifies Multiple High Priority REE Targets at Desert Star Projects, USA

Bayan Mining and Minerals Limited (ASX: BMM) has announced the results of a geophysics-led desktop study that has outlined four high-priority rare earth element (REE) targets across its 100%-owned Desert Star Projects in California, USA. Targets ST1, ST2, and ST3 in the Desert Star block and NT1 in Desert Star North were identified through integration of USGS geophysical datasets, radiometric ratios, remote sensing, and geochemistry. These anomalies display strong gravity highs, radiometric signatures, and structural intersections consistent with REE-bearing carbonatite systems, similar to the nearby world-class Mountain Pass REE Mine.

The projects are strategically located within a highly prospective corridor, just 4.5 km from Mountain Pass and 3 km from the Colosseum Gold Mine. Bayan will now advance to detailed ground magnetic, radiometric, and gravity surveys to refine drill-ready targets. The study confirms Desert Star’s potential as a cornerstone REE asset in the U.S., positioning the company for a significant discovery.
