BPM Minerals Secures Option Over High-Grade Forelands Gold Project in WA

BPM Minerals Ltd (ASX: BPM) has entered into an exclusive option agreement to acquire the Forelands Gold Project, a district-scale opportunity located ~150km east of Kalgoorlie along the Yilgarn Craton–Albany Fraser Orogen margin, a region geologically analogous to the >8Moz Tropicana gold deposit. Spanning approximately 630km², the tenement package includes over 75km of confirmed gold mineralisation strike and provides excellent infrastructure access via the Trans-Access Road.

The high-grade Beachcomber Prospect, situated on granted tenure, hosts stacked quartz lodes with bonanza intercepts including 3m @ 65.8g/t Au. Reverse circulation (RC) drilling is set to commence in Q3 2025. Over 40 historical drill holes within the project area have returned more than 1 g/t Au in basement rocks, while numerous untested geophysical and structural targets remain. The project team is bolstered by the addition of Dr. Ross Chandler and Luke Blais—AMEC’s 2023 Prospector Award recipients—as Technical Advisor and Exploration Manager, respectively.
