Butn Secures Transformational AU$100 Million Senior Debt Facility with Northleaf.

Butn Ltd (ASX: BTN) has secured a pivotal AU$100 million senior secured debt facility over four years with Northleaf Capital Partners, a leading global private markets investment firm. The company has completed an initial drawdown of AU$77 million, with AU$23 million in committed funds still available. This facility replaces Butn’s previous AU$81.3 million corporate notes, including early repayment of higher-cost 2022-1 notes, significantly improving its funding structure.

The new facility enhances Butn’s financial flexibility and supports strategic growth, alongside its recent AU$10 million equity raise and an AU$10 million corporate credit facility from Mighty Partners. The financing also extends the company’s funding maturity and strengthens its balance sheet. Northleaf, known for its expertise in asset-based specialty finance, expressed confidence in Butn’s market leadership in factoring and supply chain finance. This partnership positions Butn to expand originations, enter new verticals, and accelerate its next phase of growth.
