Carnegie Secures Key Role in €4 million Horizon Europe Innovation Project.

Carnegie Clean Energy (ASX: CCE) has been chosen as the key technology partner in the €4 million COIN (Control-Oriented Innovations for future wave energy farms) Project, fully funded under the Horizon Europe Programme. The initiative aims to enhance the reliability, survivability, and cost efficiency of wave energy farms, with Carnegie’s CETO technology selected as the reference platform for testing. The project will integrate advanced systems including AI-driven wave prediction, novel connector solutions, and digital-twin-based monitoring, targeting a 30% reduction in the levelised cost of energy (LCOE).

Spanning four years, COIN brings together nine leading organizations across Europe, with Carnegie earning €383k ($684k AUD) for its contributions without any cash commitment. The project also builds on existing collaborations with Quoceant and Hewlett Packard Enterprise to further advance CETO’s commercialization pathway, aligning with Carnegie’s proposed 6MW deployment and reinforcing its position in next-generation ocean energy innovation.
