Castle Minerals Expands West African Gold Portfolio

Castle Minerals Limited (ASX: CDT) is a West African gold explorer with an extensive landholding across northern Ghana and eastern Côte d’Ivoire. The company recently secured a 90% interest in Mineralis Ltd, gaining rights over seven highly prospective permits spanning 1,842 km² in Côte d’Ivoire. These projects lie within Birimian greenstone belts, a globally significant gold region hosting numerous multi-million-ounce discoveries. The Côte d’Ivoire acquisition complements Castle’s existing Kpali and Kandia gold projects in Ghana, strengthening its regional footprint.

To support this expansion, Castle raised AU$3.3 million through a placement, lifting cash reserves to about AU$4.7 million. Leadership changes accompany the strategy, with seasoned West African mining executives Steve Zaninovich and Mohammed Niare joining the board, while a new CEO will be appointed. With a robust technical team and renewed capital, Castle is positioned to drive aggressive exploration and deliver the next generation of gold discoveries in West Africa
