Cauldron Energy Signs MOU with Navoiyuran to Advance Yanrey Uranium Project.

Cauldron Energy Limited (ASX: CXU) has entered a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Uzbekistan’s national uranium company, Navoiyuran, the world’s second-largest in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium producer. The collaboration will focus on advancing Cauldron’s Yanrey Uranium Project in Western Australia, with potential areas including technical assistance, project design, operational expertise, funding opportunities, and government advocacy. Navoiyuran brings over three decades of ISR mining experience across 42 deposits, currently operating 18 active ISR fields.

The Yanrey Project, fully owned by Cauldron, hosts around 42 million pounds of uranium resources with significant expansion potential across largely untested targets. This agreement marks Navoiyuran’s first partnership in Australia, underscoring the project’s global significance. Cauldron sees this collaboration as transformational, enhancing technical capability while highlighting ISR mining’s sustainability and cost efficiency. The partnership strengthens the case for policy support in Western Australia’s uranium sector, positioning Yanrey as a potential world-class uranium development.
