Coolabah Metals Limited (ASX: CBH), soon to be renamed Broken Hill Mines Limited, has announced the early closure of its public offer after receiving applications well above its maximum targeted raise of AU$20 million at AU$0.35 per share. The overwhelming investor interest in the offer—part of the company’s acquisition of Broken Hill Mines Pty Ltd and its ASX recompliance under Chapters 1 and 2—has led to the decision to cease accepting new applications, barring compliance requirements.

A general meeting is scheduled for 20 June 2025, where shareholders will vote on the necessary approvals for the transaction. Pending a positive outcome, the company expects to complete the acquisition and resume trading under its new name, Broken Hill Mines Limited, on the ASX in the coming weeks.
