Copper Output Slips as Aeris Leans on Cracow Gold Strength

Jul 11, 2025

Aeris Resources Limited (ASX: AIS) reported FY25 copper equivalent production of 42.1kt, within guidance despite falling short on copper output. The company produced 24.9kt of copper, missing its 27–32kt target due to delays at Tritton and earlier issues at Mt Colin. Gold production stood at 55.2koz, comfortably within guidance, bolstered by Cracow’s robust performance of 45.1koz for the year. Tritton saw record milling rates late in June, with over 2Mtpa achieved and 77kt stockpiled for future processing. North Queensland produced 5.5kt copper, also below expectations. Overall, Aeris ended FY25 with $49.5 million in cash and receivables, aided by a $10 million release from its Guarantee Facility. Management remains optimistic about operational stability heading into FY26, with production from Murrawombie expected to ramp up.
