Copper Search Secures Exclusive Option Over Strategic Copper-Gold Project in NSW

Copper Search Ltd (ASX: CUS) has secured a six-month exclusive option to acquire Rimfire Pacific Mining's (ASX: RIM) Cowal Project, significantly expanding its footprint in New South Wales' highly prospective Lachlan Fold Belt. The combined project, now named the Theseus Project, spans 944km² and is located just 25km east of Evolution Mining's Cowal Gold Mine, within the prolific Macquarie Arc, home to world-class copper-gold porphyry systems such as Cadia and Northparkes.

The deal comprises Rimfire's 455km² Cowal tenements and a new Copper Search application (ELA6903) covering 489km². CUS will conduct mineral geochemistry analysis, historical data consolidation, and land access verification before exercising the option for AU$200,000, plus milestone payments and royalties. This strategic move aligns with Copper Search's focus on high-potential, low-cost entry opportunities, enhancing its Australian exploration pipeline alongside the ongoing Byrock Project.
