Cromwell Property Group (ASX: CMW) has initiated a significant growth phase by announcing a landmark project in Barton, ACT. The company has secured a 15-year lease agreement with a Commonwealth Government entity to develop a 19,800 sqm, six-level, energy-efficient office facility. Strategically located in the Parliamentary Precinct, the building is designed to consolidate multiple government departments, providing long-term income stability through a AAA-rated tenant. CEO Jonathan Callaghan emphasized the project's strategic importance post-business simplification, highlighting its potential to attract future capital partners under Cromwell’s evolving capital-light model. Additionally, Cromwell has successfully renegotiated its bilateral debt facilities, reducing its weighted average credit margin from 1.77% to 1.31%. This financial restructuring reflects the Group’s strengthened balance sheet and positions it well for careful, future growth. With AU$4.5 billion in assets under management, Cromwell continues to deliver value to investors across Australia and New Zealand
