Desert Metals Unveils Priority Gold Drill Targets at King Kong Prospect

Desert Metals Limited (ASX: DM1) has identified multiple high-priority gold targets within the +3.4km King Kong gold corridor of its Adzope Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire. The company recently completed a 27.5-line kilometre dipole-dipole induced polarisation (DDIP) geophysics survey and a 233-hole auger sampling campaign totaling 2,831m. Results confirmed extensive mineralisation zones, supported by significant prior drill intercepts such as 17m at 7.5g/t and 13m at 1.64g/t gold. Two key target zones were outlined: Zone A, defined by strong geophysical anomalies and consistent auger gold values, and Zone B, proximal to artisanal workings with values peaking at 980ppb. Desert Metals will commence a +5,000m diamond drilling program in June 2025, using a Rock-800 rig with assays conducted via PhotonAssay. The project lies within the prolific Birimian greenstone belt, which hosts major gold systems, and marks a strategic advance in DM1’s West African exploration portfolio
