Desert Metals Limited (ASX: DM1), a gold exploration company, has uncovered a potentially continuous 900-meter gold zone at the Tiogo prospect within its Tengrela South permit in northern Côte d'Ivoire. First-pass aircore drilling yielded high-grade gold results, including 8m at 6.47g/t and 12m at 4.20g/t from holes 900m apart. This discovery lies just 30km south of Perseus Mining’s Sissingué gold mine. Additionally, at the Kakologo prospect, significant gold intercepts such as 18m at 1.02g/t were recorded. Ground geophysics will commence in Q2 2025 to define further drill targets. Meanwhile, at the southern Adzope project’s King Kong prospect, Desert Metals completed dipole-dipole geophysics and auger sampling over a 3km corridor, with diamond drilling set to begin in May 2025. Desert Metals is earning significant interests in over 1,000 km² of mineral tenements in Côte d'Ivoire, aiming to expand its footprint in West Africa’s prolific gold belts
