The Ministry of Mines and Geology has revoked several explorations, semi-industrial, and exploitation permits as part of a compliance review. DMC confirmed that its exploration permit applications for the Firawa and Labé Projects remain unaffected and are progressing through regulatory channels without issue. The Company had anticipated such regulatory reforms and views them as a positive step toward reopening Guinea’s digital cadastre system and enabling the issuance of compliant new permits. DMC reiterated its commitment to working constructively with the Guinean authorities and expressed confidence that these reforms will improve the country’s investment climate and regulatory credibility.
