Drilling Approval and New Targets at Mt Carrington

Legacy Minerals Holdings Limited (ASX: LGM) has received NSW Government approval to recommence drilling at the Mt Carrington (Drake) Gold-Silver-Copper Project. The program allows for up to nine holes and 4,500m of diamond drilling at the Battery Prospect, targeting untested zones and building on over 3,000 historical drill holes and 100,000m of previous drilling, which delivered standout intercepts such as 12.82m at 48g/t Au and 18.9m at 5.8% Cu. Initial drilling will focus on the Battery, Mascotte, and Emu prospects, with further stages planned at Red Rock, Kylo, Strass, and White Rock.

A recent geophysical review using airborne MT data has identified compelling near-mine targets, including porphyry halos and conductivity anomalies, enhancing the discovery potential. Supported by a strong AU$7.75 million cash position, Legacy Minerals is well-funded to advance exploration, aiming to expand its 1.2Moz gold-equivalent resource base and unlock further critical mineral opportunities.
