DroneShield Secures Record AU$61.6 million Contract from European Military Customer

DroneShield Limited (ASX: DRO) has announced its largest-ever contract, securing an AU$61.6 million package of three standalone follow-on contracts from a European military customer via its in-country reseller. The deal surpasses DroneShield’s total 2024 revenue of AU$ 57.5 million and involves the supply of handheld detection and counter-drone systems along with accessories. All equipment is scheduled for delivery in Q3 2025, with cash payments expected across Q3 and Q4 2025.

The reseller has gradually scaled orders over the past two years—from initial evaluations to multi-million-dollar procurement—demonstrating growing confidence in DroneShield’s capabilities. This latest deal follows a smaller AU$0.5 million contract for the same customer in April 2024. CEO Oleg Vornik highlighted the significance of the transaction, stating that this milestone affirms the transition of top-tier military clients from testing to full-scale adoption. With expanded production capacity, DroneShield is well-positioned to meet accelerating global demand.
