Eildon Capital Group Responds to Takeover Bid

Eildon Capital Group (ASX: EDC) confirmed receiving a takeover approach led by Samuel Terry Asset Management, acting as trustee for the Samuel Terry Absolute Return Active Fund. The bidder has lodged a statement proposing an off-market acquisition of Eildon Capital securities at AU$0.80 per stapled security.

In response, Eildon Capital’s Board has advised securityholders not to take any action at this stage regarding the offer or the bidder’s statement. To ensure an independent and thorough evaluation, the Board will establish a dedicated committee to assess the proposal and determine the best course of action in the interest of all stakeholders. Securityholders will receive additional information and direction after the review has been finalized.
