Element 25 Expanding Global Manganese Footprint

Element 25 Limited (ASX: E25) is an Australian company focused on manganese mining and advanced battery materials. The company holds ownership of the Butcherbird Manganese Project in Western Australia, which ranks among the largest known manganese deposits globally, containing reserves of 101 million tonnes grading 10.4% manganese. Currently, Element 25 is executing the Butcherbird Expansion Project to lift production capacity to 1.1Mtpa. This expansion, supported by a AU$50 million NAIF debt facility and a AU$10 million share placement, aims to supply feedstock for its planned high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) facility in Louisiana, USA.

The Louisiana refinery, backed by US Department of Energy funding, as well as offtake agreements with General Motors and Stellantis, will produce up to 135Kt of HPMSM annually for electric vehicle batteries. With its proprietary low-carbon processing technology and “Design One Build Many” strategy, Element 25 is positioning itself as a key supplier of sustainable, traceable battery materials to global EV markets.
