Estrella Resources Partners with CoreSearch to Launch Drilling Operations in Timor-Leste

Estrella Resources Limited (ASX: ESR) has announced a significant step forward in its Timor-Leste exploration strategy by entering into a drilling contract and strategic partnership with Core Search Minerals and Mining Services LDA. Estrella is providing US$200,000 in capital to support the importation and assembly of a complete RC and diamond drilling rig package, marking the first dedicated mineral drilling capability in Timor-Leste.

This investment will be repaid through exploration services at US$10 per metre over the first 20,000 metres drilled. Estrella retains exclusive use of the equipment until full cost recovery. The initial program includes 10,000 metres of RC drilling and 3,000 metres of diamond drilling, with a second phase of RC drilling planned pending geological review. Drilling will begin in May 2025, focusing on the prospects of Ira Miri, Sica, and Lalena manganese.
