EV Resources Targets Rapid Antimony Production at Los Lirios

EV Resources Ltd (ASX: EVR) has begun an exploration program at its Los Lirios Antimony Project in Oaxaca, Mexico, designed to quickly advance toward production. The move comes as global supply tightens due to China’s export restrictions, creating opportunities for alternative high-grade sources. Los Lirios has shown exceptional grades of up to 9.9% antimony with minimal impurities, ideal for efficient gravity and flotation processing. The program, starting 18 August 2025, involves trenching, sampling, and mapping across a 7 km strike to define deposit size and continuity. Trenching results are expected in October, with drilling to follow in December. At the same time, EVR is developing a 100-tonne-per-day pilot plant to capture early cashflow. According to Chairman Shane Menere, the combination of high grades, straightforward processing, and strategic timing positions Los Lirios to enter the market quickly, offering the potential for near-term revenues and shareholder growth.
