FIN Resources Begins Drilling at Cabin Lake Gold Project in Canada
FIN Resources Limited (ASX: FIN) has commenced drilling at its Cabin Lake Gold Project located in Canada’s Northwest Territories, marking the company’s first drilling program since completing the project acquisition.
The exploration campaign is designed as a 1,500-metre diamond drilling program aimed at testing extensions of previously identified high-grade gold mineralisation. Historical drilling at the project delivered strong results, including 31.4 metres at 15.2g/t gold, 19.9 metres at 8.5g/t gold, and 13.6 metres at 7.3g/t gold, indicating significant mineral potential in the area.
Site preparations have now been completed, including the construction of the exploration camp and mobilisation of drilling equipment. A geophysics team is also operating on site to assist with refining drill targets and guiding further exploration activities.
The current drilling program will focus on confirming and expanding the known mineralised zones, with assay results expected to be released as they become available.
