Forrestania Resources Advances Hyden Project Drilling

Forrestania Resources Limited (ASX: FRS) announced that it has received approval from the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration (DMPE) to commence its initial step-out drilling program at the Hyden Project, owned by Hyden Project Holdings Pty Ltd, which Forrestania is acquiring in full. The Company has secured contractors, finalized planning, and resolved all plaints against the project’s tenements. Phase 1 of the program, covering about 1,500 metres, will test the open mineralisation zones at the Lady Ada and Lady Magdalene deposits to validate geological concepts before moving to resource infill drilling.

These deposits form a continuous gold system extending over 1.5 kilometres, with multiple lodes across a 125-metre-wide shear zone, hosting high-grade mineralisation. Pending Phase 1 results, Phase 2 will comprise up to 13,500 metres of drilling aimed at expanding and defining resources. Chairman David Geraghty emphasized the strategy of consolidating high-quality gold assets in the Southern Cross region to deliver long-term value.
