This discovery, verified through Phase 2 mineralogical studies by SGS Lakefield, significantly enhances the potential for efficient gallium extraction using traditional processing methods.
Recent RC drilling returned exceptional gallium intercepts, including 204m @ 21.7 g/t Ga (GRC 15) and 247m @ 16.8 g/t Ga (GRC 21), reinforcing the project's scale and continuity. The alignment of gallium with Au-Ag-Zn mineralisation zones positions Golconda as a potential key domestic source for critical metals in the US, particularly for defense and tech infrastructure. Ongoing test work aims to define a viable hydrometallurgical extraction pathway, advancing commercialisation efforts and engagement with potential offtake partners.
