GBM Resources Welcomes Daniel Hastings as CEO

GBM Resources Limited (ASX: GBZ) has announced the appointment of Daniel Hastings as Chief Executive Officer, effective 11 August 2025. With more than 25 years of mining industry experience across multiple continents, Hastings has led high-impact exploration programs, advanced world-class projects, and delivered major operational efficiencies. His track record includes steering the Simberi Gold Project into production, uncovering a +5Moz gold equivalent deposit near Ok Tedi, and identifying over US$1 billion in growth opportunities during his tenure at Newcrest. Most recently, he advised global mining leaders on strategic planning and played a key role in BHP’s C$4.0 billion acquisition of Lundin’s assets. GBM’s Board sees his leadership as a strong fit for driving the company’s growth and long-term shareholder value.
