Gorilla Gold - High-Grade Growth at Comet Vale

Gorilla Gold Mines Ltd (ASX: GG8) has reported strong exploration results at its 100%-owned Comet Vale Project, located north of Kalgoorlie, WA. At the Lakeview discovery, diamond drilling on the King Kong lode returned 11m at 5.5 g/t Au from 366m and 1.3m at 18.2 g/t Au from 383.5m, extending high-grade mineralisation 100m down-plunge. The Cheer Prospect, part of the Silverback trend, delivered 8.5m at 2.8 g/t Au, supporting a maiden resource estimate. Five rigs are currently active—three diamond rigs targeting King Kong’s central zone and two RC rigs drilling at Silverback, Happy Jack, and Sovereign North. An updated Mineral Resource Estimate for Comet Vale, including Lakeview, Cheer, Sovereign, and Sovereign North, is due in Q4 2025. Metallurgical testwork indicates gold recoveries of 97.5% via cyanide leach. These results strengthen Gorilla Gold’s strategy of expanding high-grade resources at brownfields projects near existing infrastructure.
