Market Alert: Trump Revives Trade War Playbook with Tariff Threats
Green Critical Minerals Ltd (ASX: GCM) has reported outstanding results from Finite Element (FE) modelling conducted by Professor Qing Li of the University of Sydney’s Center for Advanced Material Technology (CAMT). A global authority in computational mechanics, Professor Li assessed the heat dissipation performance of GCM’s proprietary VHD graphite heat sink against conventional materials like copper and aluminium.
The modelling revealed that VHD heat sinks can handle power loads of 300–400W while maintaining microchip temperatures between 70–85°C, significantly outperforming traditional materials, which operate efficiently in the 200–250W range. Heat mapping confirmed VHD’s superior thermal diffusivity, crucial for next-generation microchips starting at 300W+. These findings validate VHD’s commercial potential, particularly in data centres and semiconductor cooling. GCM is now advancing its customer engagement program and anticipates a series of updates, including its first sales agreements and revenues by H1 2026. The Company also aims to expand into liquid cooling applications via its existing collaboration agreements.
