HeraMED Partners with RMIT & DHCRC to Advance AI-Driven Maternity Care for CALD Women.

HeraMED Limited (ASX: HMD) has announced a strategic partnership with RMIT University and the Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre (DHCRC) to improve maternity care for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) women. The AI-focused project, valued at AU$1.25 million, will develop predictive models to assess the risk of pre-term delivery linked to socio-economic factors. Over 18 months, up to 200 pregnant women will be onboarded through HeraMED’s HeraCARE platform for real-time data collection and personalised monitoring.

The initiative aims to enhance clinical decision-making through AI integration, reduce diagnostic bias, and promote equitable maternal healthcare. It also supports HeraMED’s strategy to commercialise AI-driven tools and expand its “data-as-an-asset” model. With support from RMIT’s digital health expertise and DHCRC’s focus on inclusive data access, the project positions HeraMED at the forefront of innovation in maternal care, addressing healthcare inequality while enabling scalable, tech-driven solutions for diverse populations.
