High-Grade Gold Discovery at Devon Pit Gold Mine.

Matsa Resources Limited (ASX: MAT) has reported the discovery of high-grade visible gold during mining at its Devon Pit Gold Mine in Western Australia. The pocket of gold, intersected within brecciated gabbro and pyroxenite, lies outside the original reserve mine plan, highlighting additional ore potential. Photon assays from ALS Kalgoorlie confirmed exceptional grades of 222.60 g/t and 188.35 g/t. Ore haulage to FMR’s Greenfields processing plant has been accelerated, bringing forward Matsa’s first processing campaign to 11 September 2025, with the initial gold pour expected on 15 September 2025.

The Devon Pit project includes historical workings from the 1920s and currently holds a reserve of 309kt at 4.59 g/t for 46koz. The mine is expected to operate for 18 months and produce over 40,000 ounces of gold. With processing underway and visible gold confirmed, Matsa is positioned for near-term cash flow and significant shareholder value.
