Hillgroves Deep Drilling Unveils Promising Copper Expansion at Kanmantoo

Hillgrove Resources Ltd (ASX: HGO) has reported significant developments from its drilling program at the Kanmantoo Copper Mine. Drilling from the 750 Diamond Drill Site, the deepest at Kanmantoo, has intercepted copper mineralisation beyond the existing Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), notably with a 2.4m hit at 0.9% Cu and 0.04g/t Au from 238.6m in hole 25KVUG0597. This marks the deepest intersection at Kavanagh West and opens up a new vertical extension target.

Further results, such as 13m @ 2.24% Cu in 25KVUG0607, reinforce the resource’s continuity and support potential expansion. With over 5,900m drilled in May alone, the company is on track to meet its 60,000m drilling target. The program’s early results indicate the potential to grow the resource base and improve mine planning. Hillgrove plans to release an updated resource estimate in Q4 2025
