Horseshoe Metals Extends Gold Surface Materials Option Agreement with Melody Gold

Horseshoe Metals Ltd (ASX: HOR) has granted Melody Gold Pty Ltd an extension until 30 June 2025 to exercise its option under the Gold Surface Materials Rights Agreement at the Horseshoe Lights (HSL) project. The extension allows Melody Gold additional time to complete metallurgical test work on gold surface materials, including subgrade stockpiles, gold leach vats, and tailings.

To support this, Horseshoe provided four 30kg composite samples from historic auger drilling, covering gold grades ranging from 0.32 g/t to 2.43 g/t Au. The samples underwent standard and screen fire assays, confirming previous grade estimations. Melody Gold plans to process up to 500,000 tonnes per annum using gravity recovery to produce a gold-copper-silver concentrate. Horseshoe retains full rights over all copper and Cu/Au mixed surface and subsurface materials. The Company is progressing with copper DSO initiatives and is actively discussing potential offtake and funding agreements with major commodity traders.
