Market Alert: Ukraine Conflict Update and U.S. Policy Risk
Iltani Resources Limited (ASX: ILT) has released preliminary results from its helicopter-borne VTEM survey at the Herberton Project in northern Queensland, home to the Orient silver-indium deposit. The survey, funded with up to AU$230,375 from the Queensland Government’s CEI scheme, identified multiple strong EM responses, particularly at Orient East and West, indicating the system is larger than previously known. Additional anomalies at Deadman Creek and south of Orient West suggest potential for new mineralised zones.
The company has paused current drilling at Orient East to allow time for modelling the anomalies, which will guide the next phase of drill-testing expected to begin in July. With no sedimentary rocks mapped in the area, the anomalies are likely related to sulphide mineralisation. Iltani plans field visits and sampling at other targets, beginning with Deadman Creek, as it works to expand resources within the highly prospective Boonmoo Sag Caldera Complex.
