Market Alert: Strong Breakout Setup Emerging in ASX 200 Utilities Sector

Inca Minerals Raises AU$1.1 million to Fund Maiden Drilling at Hurricane Project.

Apr 01, 2025

Inca Minerals Limited (ASX: ICG) has secured AU$ 1.1 million in funding through an oversubscribed share placement at AU$ 0.0045 per share. The placement received strong support from both existing shareholders and new institutional investors, with Morgans Corporate Limited acting as the Lead Manager. A total of 246 million shares will be issued at AU$0.0045 per share, representing a 10% discount to the last sales price on 27 March 2025 and a 20.9% discount to the 15-day volume-weighted average price.

The funds will support a maiden drilling program at the high-grade Hurricane Project in north Queensland, which contains gold and gold/antimony mineralization. This financing follows Inca's off-market takeover of Stunalara Metals Limited, through which it acquired the Hurricane Project, with the offer set to close on 04 April 2025. CEO Trevor Benson stated that this funding will enable Inca to execute its planned drilling campaign this season and continue broader exploration efforts.
