Infinity Mining Unveils High Grade Antimony Discovery at Walhalla South Extended, Victoria

Infinity Mining Limited (ASX: IMI) has announced outstanding assay outcomes from its Walhalla South Extended Project (EL 7356), located in Victoria’s Melbourne Zone. The results confirm the presence of high-grade antimony mineralisation, showcasing strong potential for valuable resource development within this highly prospective region. Four rock chip samples revealed antimony grades between 21.6% and 51.4% Sb with gold values up to 0.88 g/t Au, confirming the presence of massive stibnite mineralisation. These samples coincide with a 1.5 km-wide circular magnetic anomaly, interpreted as a potential sub-vertical intrusion that has never been drill tested. Situated roughly 100 kilometres southeast of Southern Cross Gold’s Sunday Creek Project, the area shares similar geological characteristics with other prominent gold–antimony deposits found throughout the region. Infinity plans to undertake detailed mapping, geochemical sampling, and potentially drone-based magnetic surveys to refine targets for drilling. Managing Director Joe Phillips emphasized the discovery’s significance, highlighting antimony’s growing role in defence and renewable energy technologies.
