Market Alert: Ukraine Conflict Update and U.S. Policy Risk
iTech Minerals Ltd (ASX: ITM) has identified a significant electromagnetic (EM) anomaly at its Reward Gold Prospect within the Reynolds Range project in the Northern Territory. A recent moving loop EM survey revealed a 1.3 km long conductive target beneath high-grade copper-gold-silver-lead-zinc (Cu-Au-Ag-Pb-Zn) surface mineralisation, suggesting a potential massive sulphide system. Rock chip assays returned standout results, including 19.6% Cu and 12.2 g/t Au. The anomaly lies beneath largely untested shallow historical drill holes, with conductivity intensifying northward.
The Reward deposit shows hallmarks of a polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) system, with mineralisation hosted in quartz reefs and pyritic black siltstone. Additional drilling at the nearby Scimitar Prospect intersected lead-zinc-silver veins but did not fully explain a previously identified EM anomaly. Downhole EM surveys are planned to refine drill targets. The company has placed the Reward Prospect at the forefront of its upcoming drilling plans as it advances a wider exploration strategy across the region.
