Liontown Reports AU$298 Million Revenue and AU$55 Million Underlying EBITDA in First Year of Operations.

Liontown Resources Limited (ASX: LTR) has delivered its first full-year financial results following the commencement of operations at Kathleen Valley. For FY25, the Company generated AU$298 million in revenue and achieved an underlying EBITDA of AU$55 million, despite ongoing weakness in lithium prices. The statutory net loss after tax was AU$193 million, impacted by depreciation, amortisation, and an AU$81 million non-cash write-down of Ore Sorting Potential stockpiles. Operating cash flow was breakeven, supported by AU$112 million in cost savings and deferrals, underscoring strong financial discipline during ramp-up.

Liontown closed the year with AU$156 million cash, which increased to AU$528 million post-equity raising, providing liquidity for its transition to underground operations. FY26 is expected to be a transition year, with recoveries improving in the second half as higher-grade ore is processed. From FY27, Liontown anticipates significant benefits from underground mining, positioning itself as a major, sustainable lithium supplier.
