Market Alert: Putin Meets Trump in Alaska: A Cold Front for Market Volatility or Calm?
Litchfield Minerals (ASX: LMS) has reported a highly promising set of results from its recent VTEM survey at the Oonagalabi Project, 125km northeast of Alice Springs. Supported by the Northern Territory Government’s GDC Grant, the survey has defined 14 Priority 1 conductors with strong indications of a sulphide source, interpreted by geophysicist Kate Hine of Mitre Geophysics. The anomalies are grouped into five key conductor clusters, three of which coincide with the known copper-zinc mineralised horizon of Oonagalabi.
A fourth cluster within the Oonagalabi Anticline nose points to possible structurally controlled mineralisation, while a fifth cluster in the Irindina Province highlights broader regional discovery potential. Weaker conductors aligning with IP chargeability at the existing prospect suggest a potential link to deeper sulphide-rich zones. Managing Director Matt Pustahya described the results as a “major leap forward,” noting the emerging “Bomb Diggity” structural corridor as a significant target. Field validation starts next week, with drill pad preparation in early September and drilling scheduled to commence mid-September, targeting both copper-zinc and gold systems.
