Magellan Financial Group FY25 Performance Summary.

Magellan Financial Group (ASX: MFG) delivered a resilient FY25 performance, showcasing earnings diversification and consistent profitability. Operating profit rose 5.4% to AU$159.7 million, supported by a strong AU$31.1 million contribution from strategic partnerships, up 202% year-on-year. Investment management revenue declined 12% to AU$245.7 million, driven by lower fee margins, though average AUM increased to AU$39.6 billion, reflecting an 8.2% annual rise. Fund investment income surged 210% to AU$42.2 million, while operating EPS grew 7.3% to 89.8 cents.

Shareholders benefited from capital returns, with AU$202 million distributed through dividends and buy-backs, including a full-year dividend of 73.3 cps, fully franked. MFG ended the year with AU$563 million in liquid capital and no debt, reinforcing balance sheet strength. Strategic partnerships, particularly Vinva and Barrenjoey, contributed meaningfully to growth. With expanding distribution, new product launches, and improving fund performance, MFG has built a strong platform for future growth.
