Mulga Tank Phase 4 Drilling and Exploration Progress

Western Mines Group Ltd (ASX: WMG) has advanced exploration at its Mulga Tank Ni-Cu-Co-PGE Project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields, reporting notable progress in the Phase 4 drilling program. The first four reverse circulation (RC) holes, totaling 1,309 metres, were drilled within the main Mulga Tank Ultramafic Complex, stepping 300 metres south of prior drilling.

All holes intersected visible sulphide mineralisation, extending known zones beyond the current Mineral Resource shell. The drill rig has now shifted to the Panhandle area on tenement E39/2134, completing a diamond tail to Phase 3-hole MTRC063 (EIS7) and commencing the first EIS-supported diamond hole MTD030 (EIS8) to test the basal contact of the ~1.3km olivine cumulate body. A multi-hole Down Hole ElectroMagnetic (DHEM) survey on Phase 3 RC holes identified a conductive off-hole anomaly below MTRC055, presenting a promising drill target for a diamond tail extension or twin hole. These developments signal encouraging potential for expanded nickel sulphide resources.
