News Corporation Q1 FY2026: Sustained Growth Driven by Digital and Subscription Strength

News Corporation (ASX: NWS) reported first-quarter FY2026 revenues of US$2.14 billion, up 2% year-over-year, led by strong performances in its Dow Jones and Digital Real Estate Services segments. Net income from continuing operations rose to US$150 million, while total segment EBITDA climbed 5% to US$340 million. Dow Jones revenues surged 6%, supported by 16% growth in Risk & Compliance services and robust digital circulation. The Digital Real Estate Services segment grew 5%, fuelled by higher contributions from Move and REA Group. The News Media division posted a 67% jump in EBITDA, reflecting ongoing cost savings and subscription growth, though Book Publishing faced softness due to a US$13 million receivable write-off. News Corp continues to emphasize AI-driven data monetization, digital expansion, and shareholder value through accelerated share repurchases, reinforcing its position as a global leader in media and information services
