Noronex Advances Uranium and Copper Exploration

Noronex Limited (ASX: NRX) is an exploration company with a growing footprint in Namibia, Botswana, and Canada. While primarily a copper-focused explorer with advanced projects in the Kalahari Copper Belt and a JORC resource of 10Mt at 1.3% Cu at its Witvlei Project, the company is also expanding into uranium. Its Etango North Project, located in Namibia’s world-class uranium district near Rossing, Husab, and Bannerman’s Etango Project, has recently delivered encouraging results. A 244-line kilometre spectrometry survey identified multiple uranium anomalies, supporting earlier AI-driven modelling. Noronex plans field sampling and shallow drilling later this year to refine targets. The project is a joint venture where Noronex can earn up to 80% and acts as operator. In parallel, its copper projects benefit from a strategic alliance with South32, which can earn a 60% stake by funding exploration. Noronex continues to apply modern exploration techniques to grow its resource base.
