Northern Minerals Completes EIS Diamond Drilling at Dazzler Deposit, Unveils New HREE Exploration Targets

Northern Minerals Limited (ASX: NTU) completed its Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) diamond drilling program at the high-grade Dazzler deposit, part of the Browns Range Heavy Rare Earths Project in Western Australia. The program consisted of five co-funded diamond drill holes intersecting hydrothermal xenotime–florencite mineralization and significantly enhanced the Company’s understanding of the deposit’s deeper litho-structural framework.

Notably, drilling identified a new volcanic unit — comprising andesitic flows, tuffs, and sub-volcanic sills — within the Browns Range Metamorphics (BRM). This evolving volcanic arc model offers new HREE exploration potential at the contact between andesitic and metasedimentary units, which is associated with faulting, hematitic/chloritic alteration, quartz veining, and heavy rare earth mineralization. The improved geological model will support an update to the Inferred Mineral Resource estimate and guide future regional exploration targeting the key unconformity between BRM and Gardiner Sandstone.
